Newsela - Great Turtle

 We read a myth story on newsela about the Great Turtle.

What I learned was the Natives did not record their stories but Europeans did meaning they listened to their stories for themselves to learn and study.

I like today’s lesson as it tells me that the natives have many unique myths on how the earth was created. 

I am going to study for my quiz on Thursday about Ap art history from the notes I took and I’m having a great day today but will study for the quiz.

Prompt: Easter Sunday was yesterday, a holiday full of traditions for many people. What holiday do you look forward to the most each year, and why is it your favorite? Share what you usually do to celebrate it and what makes it meaningful or fun for you."

 The holiday that I look forward to every year is Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's, as in those holidays, my family has gatherings in which we eat and celebrate the holidays. In moments like these is why I enjoy these holidays the most every year seeing my family eating and having fun as all of us don't gather as much throughout the year, so I cherish these moments as much as I can.
