Nov 12- Write about a feeling that took you by surprise

 A feeling that took me by surprise was a time when I realized that I almost got kidnapped. It was a morning, and my aunt was taking care of me while my mom went to get breakfast for the three of us, I was the only one awake and went to watch Tv until I heard a loud crash in the balcony and from the living room and I saw through the window that someone was trying to break in but failed to open the door. I was scared and ran to my aunt waking her up and around the same time my mom came home, and I told her what happened, afterwards we moved from there but as I grew older, I didn't realize something bad might've happened to me.

In class we read the poem " Out, out" the poem is the story of a young boy working with a buzz saw and his sister calls him for supper. Suddenly, the saw cuts off his hand and calls for help but it was too late for him and passed away.

The poem told us to focus on any dangerous tasks or work you have as an accident can happen which can lead to someone's death.

 Today in class we learned how the writing process works. I plan to use this process in the future in order to help me with any writing assignments that I will have in the future.  I like this assignment as it will help me prepare for any writing assignments. Prompt: Easter Sunday was yesterday, a holiday full of traditions for many people. What holiday do you look forward to the most each year, and why is it your favorite? Share what you usually do to celebrate it and what makes it meaningful or fun for you."

 The holiday that I look forward to every year is Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's, as in those holidays, my family has gatherings in which we eat and celebrate the holidays. In moments like these is why I enjoy these holidays the most every year seeing my family eating and having fun as all of us don't gather as much throughout the year, so I cherish these moments as much as I can.
