Jan 7 - Winter Break

 For most of the break, I was sick with my throat not well as it gave me a raspy voice for Christmas and New Year's, and it hurt when I tried to speak so my winter break was me sick, but I did enjoy my Christmas while my New Year's was good as we lit up fireworks.

5 goals

1. Being able to travel to El Salvador so I can visit my stepdad's family there.

2. Being able to be healthy as my body is sick.

3. Do more outside activities as I want to do more with my body so it can improve.

4. Get a Part-Time job in the summer to save up on money.

5. Improve my art skills to have better art for my drawings.

 Personally, I have been through a near death experience at least once in my life while there was a dream where it felt I was dying but wasn't. My first near death experience was when I had my ear pierced and one day I woke with my ear itching and realized it was swollen so I told my mom about it and she decided to remove it and as soon she started removing it hurt, and I felt something running down my ear it my mom told me it was blood and a lot but as she was telling me this my hearing got muffled and I was getting blind and only saw grayish-white and nothing else. But it got better, and I regained both   but if it gotten worse, I would've lost too much blood and me losing my vision and hearing might've been a sign that I was about to die. I think when someone dies, they lose their senses like how I did their vision gets blurry and hearing muffled and soon they won't see anything nor hear anything.

Illuminate assessment

 Today in class Im we did a illuminate assessment on everything we have learned so far. The answers looked familiar to me so I feel I did okay on it. I liked the assessment as it gave me a good recap on what we learned I feel I have caught up on everything. I feeling alright not good or bad just ok and waiting for the weekend.

Write about a moment when you had to step out of your comfort zone.

 A time I stepped out was when I expressed my goals and personal goals to my family as normally I am a private person who doesn't openly tell what I like and want to do. What I mostly talked about with my family was what I wanted to do after school and what I wanted to major in during college and beyond that. It made me nervous as I felt they will judge me for what I want but they didn't mind just told me to not step out of line. Summary- Continued working on our project posters  Reflect- Summerized Corys illustraion for to be ready for presenting.
