Troy’s complaint about the unfair job system shows his frustration with racial discrimination. How did this conversation make you think about fairness and opportunity in society today? If you were in Troy’s position, what would you do?

What I personally think is that depending on what job you have its fair but to be honest jobs are hard to get now as right now the current situation of the US is not good in my eyes with tariffs being placed many items in our stores have increased, also with companies having layoffs many won't be able to get a job easily as a job is required for experience for the job you want for the rest of your life.

Summary- As a class finished reading scene 1 of the Book Fences

Reflect- Learned what makes a man and what doesn't as with Lyons he keeps asking for his dad for money even though he is 34 and can get a job somewhere instead of asking for money only when he's nearby his dad's house.
